Does anyone know when Venta Lopez will be open? I've looked on their website but says it's open . I've driven past and its definitely shut ( holidays? ) and nothing on the doors to inform of closed/ open Thank you
I believe they are on holiday in the Caribbean somebody said they have taken all their staff with them after such a successful summer. ****
Having work done ****
If they haven’t gone yet then they’ll All be going soon. Fair play to the owners in treating their staff to something like that…. ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: What companies are people using for calls and data on your mobile phones please? Don’t need much data and certainly not many calls as most done by WhatsApp. Recommendations gratefully received. Thanks. We use Hits get all calls and international as well cost around 10 euros a month **** Lobster is great value monthly payments around 12.99 euros inclusive of calls, texts, and internet it can be used back in the UK. Also the help line are all english spoken **** Can recommend Lobster. They do different plans depending on your needs and include international and UK calls **** We have great deals through Chiclana Wifi. we are on contracts including great data and international calls (including mobiles), I used my phone in the U.K. recently as I would do here both data wise and call wise and no additional charges. The boys are on pay as you go and they’re really flexible so we upped their data over summer to cover them being out and about more. Give Kelly a shout! **** Another vote for Lobster. Has saved me a fortune since I changed from Vodafone ! 13€/month - unlimited calls and texts in Spain and UK. Loads of Data - I never use it all. Also includes USA , France, Germany and a number of other European countries (if you need it). Lobster.es. **** yes Lobster. Plus stop and start if you want to with no messing about lol **** We use hits and pay around 5/6 euro a month **** Check lebara too **** Kelly works for Chiclana WIFI, not COFI. Irene works for COFI. With COFI I have three mobile phone packages plus all of my internet at home plus I switch my phone to International when in England and I pay approximately 100 euros a month which I think is fantastic. Never had a problem with it and our inter calls in Spain are unlimited **** CO-FI !!!! **** MasMovil www.masmovil.es/tarifas-moviles. Contact Kelly at Chiclana WiFi I believe you can just rock up there and she will supply and fit SIM for you and you can arrange how you wish to pay and which deal you want. Very helpful. ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Hi guys could someone clarify this for me as I am going round in circles. I left UK 17th may arrived in Spain on 18th via B ferries I left Spain 10th August arrived in UK 11th August via B ferries 87 days (17th may-11august inc) need to know when my next 90 will start the schengen calendar doesn't clarify. Thank I would think 11/11 **** Yes, that is correct, the earliest you can go back in is 11/11. Whatever date you do return be it November/December that's when your 90 days start again. **** You can download a Schengen calendar to be safe. The first and last days count as full days, irrespective of the time you arrived or left the whole Schengen area. So if someone drove down then the 90 days would start as soon as they entered France. **** apps.apple.com/.../schengen.../id1054807221 or play.google.com/store/apps/details... ****

There are three local “punto limpios” or recycling dumps as we would call them in the Uk. One opposite the local police station In town, one as above next to the fire station, and the one in los gallos behind McDonalds and Repsol petrol station ****
Is it free to take it there? ****
I would also like to know about this. Did you find out if it is free? ****
Yes it's free, but you can only make one trip per day ****
don’t open until 10 am ****

Best investment we have made but make sure you buy a good one ****
couldn’t agree more ****
I agree as well went from log burner to pellet absolutely no regrets ****
Bought a pellet burner two years ago, no regrets. Purchased from Big Mat in Chiclana on offer, so quality at a fair price, good after sales, as local. Worth having a look, good luck ****
Changed to pellet burner 2 years ago really good but hood to get one with after sakes service we bought from chimeneas chiclana very good . ****
we want to get one too, I’ve been told to get a big one do it will heat the whole house smaller ones would only heat that room, so buy as big as you can afford ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Hi there, we have a problem with our avery. Daily many sparrows enter and eat all the food of our birds, and it's getting worse and worse. We need to fix wire around they can't get through. We asked someone to make a price but 600 euro is too much. Somebody knows someone where we can ask for help.
Chicken wire but it is expensive. ****
Try Ivan González 645 819 994 ****
Mosquito net ****
Hi l have a small too, and we just put smaller wire on top, attached it with plastic tie wraps..done the job. ****
author: they go in on all sides. Wraps we can't use.
I think she was explaining to you to use wire with smaller holes like chicken wire and just attach it to the wiring you already have with cable ties or as some say zip tie ****
author: l did understand but we have parrots in the avery. They know zip ties, they bite them in half as soon as you attach them... l am sorry for that
so you use garden wire in place of tie wraps and wrap it around as it quite pliable ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Please someone wants to help me with my printer? Sometimes it works, sometimes it refuses all cooperation. Where can I go or can someone have a look at it or am l doing something wrong... pffff...
Have you got the correct and up to date software? I had this problem and I had to download an up to date driver. Try that first. ****
author: the problem is... l don't know anything about these things and how to fix them... that is why I need help, sorry
Well we live just outside Vejer so I don't know where in Chiclana you could go. We used to go to our wi-fi provider in Vejer, ****
Over the years, no decades, we have had a variety of printers - almost all of which have worked in the way the OP has descibed. Help from younger, more tech-savvy people than us, either didn't help at all, or only worked til that person left the house! Our solution to this problem was to not bother with owning a printer, and just go to a shop where we got stuff printed out for us. Much less hassle. Feeling sorry for us, our daughter then bought us a printer, installed it and it works more or less OK, but it only prints for me, but not for my husband working from his computer that is right next to the printer (my laptop is in the room next door). I have come to the conclusion that printers are an alien being sent to Earth to drive us all crazy before the real invasion of machines takes place. ****
author: Where in Chiclana is a shop where they print ?
