author: My daughter lives in Washington DC (eastern time) and wants to watch the Coronation.
She says she's going to get up at 5 am. Do you think it is worth getting up so early?
What time do the celebrations start?
The procession leaves Buckingham Palace at 10:20 UK time. ****
The Coronation Service starts at 11a.m. and finishes at 1p.m. so 6a.m. your daughters time. After that are the processions.
Coverage actually starts on tele at 7.30a.m. (2.30a.m. her time) but doubt they'll be much to see then ****
