Not everyone was off originally , but the affected area seems to have grown ****

I've been off 7 hours ..there's a major repair going on somewhere ..its a widespread cut ****

Just seen this, all ok here ( well so far) marquesado we are not that far from venta pololo ****

It's back on for us, near Venta Cotin. Is it back on for you? ****

Mines off in Las Quintas. Endesa have been working at the apartments
round corner from me since Monday so maybe something to do with that. ****

Ours in El Sotillo came back on about 1/2 hour ago. It's the weather.
On off, on off, as per usual ****

🟥 NO POWER SUPPLY FROM THIS AFTERNOON DUE TO THE DAMAGE OF STRONG WIND
⬜️ A significant number of homes in the area close to Sotillo and Novo Sancti Petri remain without electricity since noon, following the collapse
of an electric tower following this morning's windstorm. After repairing during the afternoon the damage caused by the said fall, there are some areas
that have not been activated at this time, although maintenance company workers are inspecting and gradually activating the various transformers
existing on the high-voltage line that provides service to the inhabitants of this area.

We did have but ok now ****

I've been having problems with COFI all weekend ****

he is installing new equipment. I contacted him and he explained it would be sorted and also better. ****

Just so you are all aware, - the BBC beam to the satellite has been turned off. It has effected the whole of Southern Spain and Portugal.
No one knows if it is permanent or temporary. If I hear of any updates then I'll post them ****

We have been off all day. Sky have moved Intelsat. Not sure if and when it will be back . At least we get Spanish TV ****

V had a problem with her tv tonight, just suddenly went off. ****

Have you checked your vpn is working properly as I've no problem ****

it's the satellite dishes that are affected nothing to do with the internet. ****

ah ok my TV isn't via satellite ****

Unfortunately yesterday afternoon at 15.10 the intelsat 901 27.5' west satback satellite was turned off. Meaning there is no longer
a signal being broadcast from this satellite. What I did say was about 3 years ago this happened and we were without signal for 3 days
while they carried out work on the satellites. This may be the case now but not guaranteed. If you do a Google search.

You will find some information about what might or might not happen. There's no official news from the satellite company as yet.

For those of you using firestick purchased through amazon.es how easy is it to access UK TV

What (other than Steves) systems are people using for UK TV
Given the amount of changes over the last 12 months I'm interested in possibly looking to another system.....

Looks like it - remarkably the satellite and all the free English channels
are still working in Bermuda & the Cayman Islands!! ****

yeah, and Sky satellite will be going dumb in a couple of years. ****

If anyone is interested, the Elon Musk Starlink system is half price at 250 or less.
Supposed to give over 200 in Spain, and since we have only ever got
single figures up to now, we are seriously tempted. ****

there are a number of IPTV providers that you can use over the internet if you have a decent internet connection ****

I use Nord VPN which has several servers in the UK, some only have one which is a waste of time as they get blocked.
(e.g. tunnel Bear, you get what you pay for) I can watch live UK TV as well as iPlayer and ITV-X, Channel 5 and so on.
And you can surf the web in private too. I have the VPN downloaded on an android TV box, although I think you can
bypass that and just download the VPN direct onto the smart TV itself ****

we use a chromecast with nord vpn as we couldnt get bbc with the firestick ****

I've never heard that cofi do TV but we use teeveeing, the old tv mucho and it works well.****

We use Co-Fi and Steve Harris and have all channels plus catch up! ****
