If you go into the fresh food market there is a stall that sells only chicken which is
run by Alejandro - they are all hand reared chickens and the best quality you'll get ****

Bit of a random question... we're moving to Chiclana at the end of November from Essex (UK) and I'm wondering if local shops sell Quorn mince?
Perhaps Lidl? I have a fussy vegetarian and it's a good source of protein Also any other Chiclana hints and tips welcome as we're completely new to the area!
I know Mercadona sell dried soya mince. ****
You can buy it in the health shop in the building where family cash is,,,,also Liddell and Aldi do a good range of vegstarian/ vegan products ,bio pimento tofu
from Aldi is absolutely yummy used as subtitute mince I'm not a tofu fan but that's great ****
Aldi and Lidl have a good choice and the health shop in family cash sell quite a few different vegan products including cheese ****
Most supermarkets seem to stock only ’token-gesture‘ non-meat products. There’s the occasional aubergine burger but otherwise, options are very limited.
Mercadona soya pieces is alright with the right marinade. ****

Hi you need to call in to the offices of OMIC ayuntamiento Chiclana it's like a Consumers advice centre. They investigate disputes .
They are situated above the indoor market in Chiclana. Take all paperwork with you , presupuestos, facturas and messages as well. ****

You can buy fresh arandanos in Mercadona. They're sweeter and not as red as the one's we're used to but they are cranberries. ****

I suggest “ acebuche” it is a hard wood and lasts longer . Don’t be tempted to buy cheaper pine. ****
Monika at Las Pipas has a choice of 4 different woods - I always mix the acebuche with the olive - lasts twice as long ****

The houseware shop near medio market have them, sorry can’t remember the name was the old Lidl. ****
I make my own, however without the bang. Tatty gifts and tissue paper (for the hats) from the Chinese shop.
My Spanish friends love them, especially the little gift tailored to them. ****
