author: Question: what are peoples experiences with fire TV stick ?
Excellent xxxx
we've used them on a couple of rentals with no problems. I bought the T95 max box and had it programmed and haven't had a problem with that either - get everything through KODI - Netflix, Apple TV, HBO etc xxxx
got the T95 max too. No problems with it xxxx
who programme your T 95 please xxxx
there are a few people that do them but it's pretty simple to do yourself if you watch the youtube channel it explains it all xxxx
Great providing internet is consistent xxxx
Yep great buy the 4k rather than the lite, more options available xxxx
Works well for us remote control is quite user friendly xxxx

author: Has anyone else had a network error from the new Steve TV box
Yes it keeps happening xxxx
how long have you had the box xxxx
Monday 31st October xxxx
it comes n goes xxxx
Steve Harris it sounds like you have a fault there it's urgent that you get intouch directly with me this should not be happening at all. The system should be perfect. I need to identify why you are getting regular cuts in the TV service.
Steve Harris I had received a message from the TV service provider saying that there had been a power issue at the data centre the TV service was offline for approximately 25 mins. If any customers are experiencing regular problems I may need to visit and alter some settings on your TV box. Please note I will be away on holiday from Monday the 14th Nov returning on the 24th of Nov I will have intermittent access to the internet so can check emails and WhatsApp messages only

Everyone, when you have a TV box problem, take a quick look at streameasy.support and it will tell you exactly what the problem is - without having to message poor Steve! Did this yesterday and it updated as it happened, very useful! They were swapping something over yesterday! xxxx
good tip. Thanks for posting xxxx

(on another local expat site recently) author: I have a smart tv, how do I get itv x .? Do I need a VPN? In non tech language please. Not tech savvi. Thankyou. I believe itvx is replacing itvhub therefore you would need a vpn. But a word of warning - more and more VPN's are being blocked by both ITVhub and BBC iPlayer **** Instead of using VPN I recommend SmartDNS www.smartdnsproxy.com/?afid=c334e078c070Doesn’t slow down your connection like a VPN does and gives you access to BBC iPlayer etc. it’s much cheaper too ****

author: Ive just had am Anazon Fire TV Stick delivered and set up approx 1350 Chanels but a lot of 'Buffering' I think its due to the internet connection (CoFi), has anyone else experienxed the same
I have firestick and don’t have many problems with buffering, except when trying to watch the World Cup, especially on bbc. I have fibre internet which is nearly 400 speed. Normally only have occasional buffering with bbc ****
Buffering usually is due to download speed ...not the firestick... You need bare minimum of 10 for tv ****
We've been using firestick for about 4 years now. No problems, but as stated before you will need decent internet speed to get what you want ****
I wired my fire stick to the router that helped stop buffering ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Do you need a VPN with CoFi to use an IPTV? Mine keeps buffering
I had the same problem had 18 went to 50 no problem ****
Check your download speed using a speed test.... for a decent reception you need at least 20 - 25mpbs to cover iptv and other connection you have to the wifi. VPNs narrow you band width ****
It's advisable always to use one. But in any event it's not normally going to help buffering ****
I don't use one and I'm with COFI ****
i dont use one, depends what package you have internet speed wise ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: I noticed free WiFi in plaza de las bodegas, but it seems not to go much further than that. Is there any info on it? Why would it? It is free in most of the plazas as a security measure so that kids who are out can have contact in case of emergency. Here is a link which will tell you where it is free www.diariodecadiz.es/.../plazas-Chiclana-wifi... ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Does anyone have advice on cancelling Movistar WiFi? Can’t seem to find a number to call to cancel.
I just went into the store in the centre and they did it for me there and then ****
also they will ask you to take equipment back as well.. such as tv boxes, internet box. This can be done just after in store in the lockers they have ****
I would also recommend going to the Movistar store to cancel your internet contract. This way they will cancel it for you and importantly give you paperwork to prove this. Movistar have a habit of continuing to take money by direct debit even once a contract has been cancelled so you need to have the proof it is cancelled to avoid this.****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Could anyone give me an idiots guide to downloading a vpn onto my router please.
The Express VPN helpline is very helpful- don’t know if they’d talk you through it. I’ve not attempted it myself. ****
I use Express VPN and the instructions were pretty easy. I imagine that each company has specific process for your router so I don’t think general advice will apply. Honestly not too tricky though! ****
Strong VPN is a great one that can be downloaded on your router so all devices in house are on. But I can't tell you how yo do it im afraid lol 🤣 😂 you pay but only couple dollars a month .****
