Has anyone else ever had trouble with the cash machine at banca march at sancti petri branch?
I’ve been to withdraw some money this morning and the slot where the cash comes out opened and closed several times without the money.
I went into the bank and they said it’s nothing to do with them and I have to report it to my own bank. (I’m not with banca march)
Normally if this happens at any other cash point it is credited back straight away but in this case it’s still showing as I’ve taken it out.
Anybody else had this problem there before??
this happened to me 4th October and I'm with Banca march. They didnt realise how much Spanish I actually understand and said between themselves I was lying!
Slightly red faced when a Spaniard had exact same problem after me! So this week I made a claim and this morning got my money credited. xxxx
However, used the machine again this morning with english card and same happened - I was told to contact my bank. She did say that I was the 4th person this
morning to have a problem, admitting there was an intermittent fault!! FOR 2 WEEKS?? xxxx
Check that there's no device attached to the cash machine. It's a way for scammers to take your money Also was there anyone hanging around behind you? xxxx

Its not been operational since start of October and until Cocina Talola reopens - end of the month - it probably wont get fixed!! xxxx
It seems that this hole in the wall is just what it means, a big black hole! I used it some years ago, I got no cash out, and as I had used a UK bank card,
I was reimbursed by UK bank. Certainly not to be trusted, seeing as it has been doing this for some time. xxxx

Seems like the ATM at Banca March, Novo Sancti Petri, is up to its old tricks again. I went to withdraw some money on 1/11/22 and had the same experience as Ross McCormack. I too went into the bank, who said it's nothing to do with them and I'd have to report it to my own bank (which is not Banca March), although they did give me details of the ATM number, etc.
I contacted my bank's Customer Services who informed me that the money should be refunded automatically, and to wait a day or two, but that if it wasn't refunded I'd have to go to my bank branch (in Cadiz!). On 5/11/22 I went to my bank branch and made a claim but, to date, the money still hasn't been refunded. Does anyone know how long it normally takes to obtain a refund?

Online bbva account. No fees, no maintenance. ****
Sabadell. I believe no charges if you take out a house or car insurance with them, or have €700 euro a month paid in.
check them out Christian is helpful speaks English too. I've had no nasty surprises with them ****
Openbank online no charges. It’s part of Santander I believe. I’ve been happy. La Caixa not so although I do have an
account with them and they don’t charge me. Not helpful if u have a problem! ****

author: Warning: the Banca March ATM machine at Novo (altamar) is not dispensing cash withdrawals but your account is still debited for the cash.
I went into the bank to tell them and they said they know about it (since yesterday). I said they should have put a notice on it if they knew this is happening.
Got the shoulder shrug and told to call the number on the atm screen. We contacted our card provider who said they can see the machine has a fault and money
should be back on our card in the next 7 days or so. Luckily I only wanted 20 euro...
So I'd advise that if you need to take out a large sum from that ATM, try 10 euro first to check if the machine is now dispensing cash correctly.
We had a drink in the bar next door and stayed about 45 mins and AFAIK no one put a notice in the machine to say it wasn't dispensing cash.
i was in the bank when you came in and you are right they didnt seem bothered at all, they dont see the cash machines as there responsibility. ****
went this morning around 10 ish and there was a sign on the machine saying out of service so he had to go in the bank. ****
The irresponsible and blasé attitude of these bank workers never fails to astound me. Do they not care about anything? ****

author: oops, sorry I probably interrupted your conversation with the bank lady and must have seemed rude/impatient..
but at the time the machine hadn't spat my card back out either so I had neither card nor money and was a bit in a rush to
get back outside before the machine spat my card out into the hands of someone passing by.. apologies..
No you didnt it was fine we were just about to leave anyway, i hope you sorted it and werent left out of pocket. ****
author: we wont get the money refunded for at least a week, poss longer. So it's lucky it was only 20 euro rather than 500 euro...

Which one is it I always use the one next to the tabaco shop no problems ****
This one out of service too but at least it says it on screen ****

author: Does anyone know if the Banca March ATM at Novo is now dispensing money? I went to Colorado today to get cash
(as the Unicaja there doesn't charge my card to take my own money out) but both the Unicaja ATMs were out of service.
I tried the one at Hotel Antonio and did a 20 euro withdrawal in order to see what the charges would be
- hmmmm... 7 euros on a 20 euro withdrawal... no thanks....
