author: Good afternoon, does anyone know if a Spanish Will can be set up via email? We have a property in Chiclana and my partner is not well enough to travel at the moment. Thank you
Juan Antonio from TempleCAMBRIA could advise on this, email is info@templecambria.com xxxx
I have just used E&G Solicitors. They are based in London and completely did my mum and dad's English and Spanish wills - sent the wills to the consulate in Spain for notary and all for a great price. Contact Ray Teece. His email is ray@solicitorsinspain.com. They have offices here in Spain also xxxx

Juan Antonio Rodríguez García Hi , I replied yesterday but just so the rest of people know, NO you cannot set up a will by email or even by power of attorney but I have explained the different options you have to make a will in the UK that is enforceable in Spain. Any questions just please let me know. Regards

author: A big shout out to E&G Solicitors in Spain who have been fantastic. Based in both Spain and in London, UK. With minimal fuss they arranged new wills to be drawn up in England for my parents, sent them to the Embassy in London and then on to the Consulate here in Spain where everything was processed, notarised and returned. Excellent value for money too and not a hitch.
Strange procedure for wills? Why do English wills need to be notarised in Spain? ****
author: not a strange procedure at all if the existing will was in Spanish and dealing with Spanish property
Ah. So Spanish wills made in the UK. I just made mine in Spain and it was notarised in San Fernando. ****
author: yes, so did my parents but they have since moved back to the UK so needed one to supersede the one that they did here
Totally agree, they handled our purchase and were top quality and very professional ****
