(on another local expat site recently) author: Hi everyone can someone tell me if you need a fishing license if you are over 70 thanks
Well over 65 no fees ... but whether that means you need a licence / course but don't pay or you need nothing I'm.not sure Logic says you need the course, licence , but don't pay Email them and ask ****
Unfortunately its far more complicated than it needs to be , especially as we're a tourist destination ****
Yes, its free for 65+ but you definately need to apply for one. ****
I believe that fishing from the beach is prohibited before 10pm ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Question .. is anyone into kayaking? A friend is wondering if there are safe rivers around here ..
Lots of kayaking at sancti petri and the river up to San Fernando ****
are we allowed to kayak up that river or do we need a permit of some sort please? Where would I put the kayak in the water? Novice kayaker ****
not 100% sure, but I know paddle boarders just launch from the beach and paddle that direction without anything. There's nothing to stop you launching from the beach, but you have to be aware of the running tide around the port - pretty strong. ****

(on another local expat site recently) author: Can anyone suggest somewhere to go paddleboarding? I’m looking for something away from the coast, so rivers, lakes etc.. Also, is there a group of boarders or kayakers that I could tag along with? Thanks.
The lake at Arcos, It’s beautiful. ****
