author: I must get one of these scams every day of the week as it’s Christmas time !



If you do pay the small fee cancel your card as I fell for it as I was waiting for a parcel from UK after my card was cancelled
the bank informed me that about ten attempts were made to get larger amounts from me good job I reacted as soon as I realised.
They tried to get other times by messaging me that I needed to stop a large amount being taken from my account
don't trust any messages you get from contacts you don't know ****

Got conned by this earlier in the year...they took 300€ from my account. Bank wouldn't reimburse me because I had entered my card details,
but I get one every time I order anything. ****

Ventas de Welp Espana
this is an unwanted message + received this same whatsapp message on 5/1/2024.
blocked it & phone shows ''you blocked this business''

now they've come thru again so blocked them again gave reason as 'spam'
& phone again says "you blocked this business"

Also had several unwanted calls recently from unrecognised mobile nos
needles to say - didn't answer any of the calls or open messages

author: Scam calls are not just about money. I had a call this morning that literally stopped me in my tracks.
She said she was one of the mums from the school and that I wasn't to worry but my son had been rushed to Puerto Real Hospital.
It wasn't a normal cold call number that I know to avoid - it was a local number.
I don't know what information she was hoping to glean
but because I didn't know her and I know most of the mums and have their numbers, I phoned the school and he is fine.
Whoever is doing this is vile. My legs went from under me. I hope that Karma catches up with her shortly.
Be careful of any phone calls guys, there are some nasty people about

author: No, definitely a scammer who has managed to get my information from FB. I've just adjusted all of my privacy settings.
It's frightening what they can get hold of

I had a phone call from the school nurse when Sam was young, telling me that he had something seriously wrong with him.
I kept telling her he didn’t but she insisted I left work straightaway to get him. She had got the wrong Sam! ****

This was a scam that occurred to my late wife and myself 40 years ago!. The aim was to get us out of the house while they burgled it.
The police were well aware of the M.O., at the time, and the answer is to do exactly as you did so the home is not unoccupied. ****

Awful to do that to you, to anyone. What on earth can she get from this. People can be so cruel. Hope you’re okay. ****

The Civil Guard of Chiclana has arrested two individuals for their involvement in a series of 12 burglaries in Chiclana homes.
These criminals acted even when residents were present, employing tactics like breaking doors and windows to carry out their misdeeds
and seize various items, ranging from technology to trailers.

The good news is that much of the stolen items, including trailers and a caravan, were recovered and returned to their rightful owners.
After appearing in court, both individuals have been sent to prison as a preventive measure. The investigation was conducted by agents of the
Investigation Area of the Civil Guard of Chiclana de Border, with the support of the Civil Guard de Conil de Border.

The investigations included eye inspections, surveillance of security cameras and testimonies that allowed attention to be focused on two individuals,
one from Chiclana and one from Conil, known to officers for their involvement in similar incidents.

author: TWO GUARDIA CIVIL AGENTS AND FOUR OTHER MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC DIED THIS MORNING ON THE AP-4 HIGHWAY NEAR LOS PALACIOS
Six people died early this Tuesday on the AP-4 highway near Los Palacios, after the driver of a vehicle evaded a Civil Guard checkpoint with his HGV truck.
Two of the deceased are Civil Guard Officers, while the other four are members of the public who were at the scene and were run over.
The Civil Guard has confirmed that three other people were injured, all of them members of the Rapid Action Group (GAR) of the Guardia Civil.
They have further reported that the truck driver has been arrested.

The cause of the accident appeared, initially, to be accidental. Receiving directions from the officers, as the driver approached the checkpoint,
he suddenly maneuvered, deviating towards the shoulder, hitting the first three Guardia Police cars and at least two other civilian vehicles that were being checked.
The tragic accident took place at 4:40 in the morning. The health emergency services travelled to the scene, where the judicial commission
and an Accident Investigation team from the Civil Guard are now located trying to carry out a first visual inspection.

The driver of the truck was uninjured and was tested for alcohol and drugs with negative results. Two of the deceased,
as well as the three injured are members of the Guardia Civil, the other four being civilians.
