Saw this yesterday on another local ex-pat site
High-speed train tickets for just 15 euros!
From TODAY until Sunday on the Renfe website there are 100.000 tickets available for just 15 euros to be used between July 1st and September 30th.
(RENFE is the Spanish national railway company.)
They can be used for all destinations so for example if you are going to spend your holidays in Alicante province, you can buy a ticket to Madrid
and in just 2h 20 minutes you will be at the capital of Spain, or the other way round if you are in the capital you can come to the beaches of
Barcelona, Malaga or Alicante in a couple of hours. 🙂
