Full Comprehensive Cover
How much are folk paying for their annual premium?
Know it depends on individual details - car, driver(s) where kept etc

(on another local expat site recently) author: We’re moving to Spain in the new year and are in the process of buying a car in Spain. Any recommendations for insurance please? And what is the best way to ensure a good price with no claims discount? Is it as simple as ensuring we have certification of our no claims? My husband is over in Spain at the moment and quotes are proving to be quite high! Many thanks! I pay around 400 euros including break down assistance, fully comp, excess of 240. Car value 8K. **** Paid £365 this year car valued 14k **** I'm at 335e likewise fully comp , assistance etc car value 22k so not to bad really **** Abbeygate are excellentl ang good prices. Been with them for years **** no claims I didn’t have any luck with those when I moved over. I use, LHD in los gallos will take care of all your insurance… car, house, health etc **** Direct line is brilliant **** I use Linea Directa for house and car. Fortunate to not have a car claim so far, but they sent someone out into the campo when I accidentally flattened the battery. **** I can't find any mention of no claims on my first policy, but they accepted I had a UK licence of over 10 years. Linea also include full European breakdown cover. I ring them up each year at renewal time and renegotiate a better price! **** We are using Mapfre and we are happy with them. I’m not sure what you are doing about driving licence in Spain. By law you can drive for 3 months in Spain with a Uk licence. Not sure if you can insure a Spanish car with a Uk driving Licence. If you hold a UK driving license before coming into Spain , I advice you to go to the post office and get an international driving license for Spain. ****
