Hi Folks,
Today I received this text (SMS) "Proximamente recibira en su movil, un SMS recordandole sus citas en el hospital de la Janda. Si no quiere recibirlos, envie NO"
About three weeks ago i had a telephone call to confirm i could receive text messages on my telephone
So I am assuming that i will get THE jab soon - anyone else had this?

On Wednesday, 31st March, I received a telephone call from the Andalusian Health Authority to say that I have been given an appointment on Monday, 5th April, for my Covid jab. I asked if this was for my wife as well as for myself, but was told that at the moment it is only for 78-79 yr olds (I am 79). I was advised that my wife's appointment would be allocated soon (she is 75).

Received my 1st jab today (Pfizer). Was given appointment for 2nd jab on 26th April. All very straightforward - received jab whilst sitting in car! My wife is still waiting to hear about her 1st jab, but hopefully they will get through the current age group quite quickly if my experience is anything to go by.

My wife received a telephone call this morning to advise that she has an appointment for her Covid jab on Monday, 12th April. Seems as if things are moving quite quickly - but surely we are not the only recipients? No-one else (apart from Davexf) appears to have posted re THE jab!

P.Doff, so happy that your wife has been given her date for her jab.
I too would like to hear how quickly the vaccine programme is going as this will play part of the lockdown traffic light system here in the UK to enable us to travel back to chiclana.
We are having our 2nd jabs next Thursday and hoping, fingers crossed, will allow us to return sooner rather than later.

In the UK and will have our second (Astra Zenca) jabs by 12 June. Desperate to get to our house in Chiclana in July!!

Mike having his second jab this morning. I am waiting for my appointment. Our return to Chiclana gets nearer x

Things are definitely moving apace here in Conil…. three of my friends and I have received 1st jabs in the last week...second Pfizer jabs to follow before the end of the month....GREAT...p.s. only had 3 hours notice of appt.!
