Could see through the window, that the letters were headed UK TRANSITION.


Thought: this doesn't look very interesting & skipped through it in 10secs.

Sorting out all post + paperwork and then dealing with it or else destroy.

Straightforward letter giving lots of information & where to find out about it.
 
1. Register for Residency
2. Check your access to healthcare and register with your healthcare authority if necessary

3. Exchange your UK driving license for a local one
4. Check your passport validity online and renew it now if you need to

This is a UK Government letter for Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) customers living in Spain.




Presuming these were sent out to everyone here, comforting to know they're thinking about their 'customers'
Not so comforting - that there was no mention of re-instating the 'winter fuel payment'

I don't remember getting one of those; however, the daily update from GOV.UK has had all those subjects and more. The latest missive has information for people entering the UK after 4am 18th January 2021 and gives very good advice about getting the required travel insurance in the light of the pandemic.

All ChiFRA members should have received an email today about the above and, as a matter of interest, they have received over 50 emails since the pandemic started.
