Keep an eye on your bank accounts.
Last week mine showed an ‘embargoed payment of 160€’
Long story short, after several calls, it transpired it is in relation to a un -paid water bill for 2019:
On a property I sold in 2001.
I am in the process of recovering the payment.
PS. All the calls I have had to make required speaking Spanish. Fortunately I speak sufficient.
The bills have been paid for 19 years.
The bill is for the 1st quarter of 2019.
Having spoken to the office which generated the charge, I know that when I speak to the responsible person
next Monday it will be sorted.
I do not need to use a legal service.
I posted to advise people to watch their accounts.
