La Cala de Mijas 22h · WARNING. GIBRALTER... I have just arrived back from a shopping trip to Gibraltar No problem getting in and out but we had to show our Spanish residency cards and passports. The main surprise was that they were checking every car and they took our food shopping into an office at the border and confiscated all meat products, all milk products including yogurts. They even told us that we can only take 3 banana's each into Spain... When we asked why, they said BREXIT. I wouldn't mind as much if it went to a charity to help feed those in need but it doesn't. They put all the confiscated food into a big freezer and when it's full, they destroy it... GOOD OLD BREXIT!

Hola,
It will be interesting to see what happens when the current border disappears; it should be within the next six months that the borders will be within the airport and at the sea port.
It should be that Morrison's et al can not sell sausages etc.?

There doesn't seem to be much surprise or concern from people using this Forum about the shopping restrictions when leaving Gibraltar since Brexit. Is that because not many people shop in Gib any more or that people were aware of the changes I wonder?
