Have seen the tent for 'testing virus' in the car-park of the Dr's surgery, Los Gallos, Chiclana. Wondered how they kept folk being tested away from others going to the Dr's for non-virus issues.
Dec 1st went to surgery, didn't drive inside the car-park: as could see a continuous queue of cars, waiting for the 'virus tent' (think they were having their temperature taken)
Walked round to front-entrance doors, guy inside pointed to hand sanitizer & directed folk to the correct door, Dr or receptionist etc (he was pleasant & did speak some English)
Could see through to the back-entrance glass doors. Saw that after the temp was taken, the person next to be tested, was called to go & sit in the chair. 2 medical staff (wearing full protective clothing including mask + face visor) carried out the test.
This took place: between the double set of automatic doors. It's the large rear area/terrace (normally back entrance into the doctor's)
So at no time, did the people who were being tested, enter into any part of the doctor's surgery/building. After the test, they immediately got back into their car & drove out.
So it's a 'drive in/drive out' facility - they didn't park in the car-park at all.
Wondered how far people are travelling to use this facility?
Must Say: FELT COMPLETELY SAFE going to the Doctors - if you need to see a Dr - go and see one.
