Barclaycard - new card received! USED & WORKED!

Today received straightforward letter plus new Barclaycard attached.
Letter states card can be used from Nov 2020 and has Expiry date 2025.   
Very surprised to get new card! 


9 Sept this year received letter saying ''account will be closed 16 Nov 2020''   (unless you provide proof of a UK Address)
Did not reply to this letter as live permanently in Spain & no other address(s) so was not able to provide proof of UK Address.

UPDATE: November 2nd I made a purchase (on-line) using my new Barclaycard. All went through ok & I have since received the item.
