UK Bank Debit Card

UK Expats living here with 1 address only ie no other address in any other country including the UK.

Debit Cards:
Anyone been notified by their UK bank - that their account(s) will be closed if no proof of UK address.
(not talking about credit card which is something completely different)

Again, similar to credit cards, I believe that you need to be resident in the UK for a UK bank to issue debit or credit cards. Most people will have a UK Residential Account, and although there is (or was) a Non Residents Account available I am not sure what the rules were for issuing cards on those accounts. Surely if people are resident in Spain the easy solution is to use a Spanish Bank and use their Debit & Credit cards.
