Thoroughly enjoyed this last Sat evening, had seen a similar prog (if not the same some years ago)
While playing a game of football in 1977, Bob received an injury to his foot. Later - when his toe
didn't clear up & was in fact getting worse, he saw a Doctor & was diagnosed with cancer.
He was advised to have his toe amputated but refused: his Rastafarian faith considers it to be a sin
to have a part of the body 'temple' removed. By 1980 the disease had spread to the rest of his body.
He died aged 36yrs (1945 - 1981)
(not a big Bob Marley fan but did like some of his more popular songs like: ''No women - No Cry''
