Hola a todos,
True to my word, a new thread. I just travelled to Scotland and back by car using the Channel Tunnel as I think it is safer. Has anyone used other methods to get to the UK? What method of travel did you use and did you feel safe?

Some friends of ours were at their property in mijas when the air bridge was closed and travelled back to uk to 14 days quarantine. She sent me a photo of Malaga airport after check in, the place was empty, just a minimal amount of people around but she did stress that she felt safe and that easyJet were managing the flights well, calling each row to disembark rather than the mad rush to get off first.
With France, Netherlands, Monaco and more being added and the possibility of Greece being added shortly, Western Europe could be closed off to us very soon. But, if it keeps down the spread of covid 19, I’m all for it.
Keep safe everyone.

We came back to U.K. 31 July. Gibraltar to Manchester. All very safe Gib airport good. EasyJet good inside Manchester airport good. Only problem whilst waiting for taxi outside the airport at Manchester. Masks not used aaargh. It is a shock to the system in U.K. when you think how good we have all been in Chiclana x

Were all seats filled? Davexf

We came back last week via Malaga to Manchester. Malaga airport was the quietest we've ever seen it. Easyjet were well organised and called each row to the gate so there was no queuing. The plane was half empty so we were spaced out and everyone was wearing masks. It felt very safe and controlled (but who knows). Now back to 2 weeks quarantine so can't really say what it's like outside in the UK but judging by the news there still seem many here that are not taking it seriously particularly compared to what we saw in Chiclana!! Have been tempted to do a 'Dominic' and test my eye sight but I suppose two wrongs don't make a right!!!
