IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello to all our dear supporters and friends,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Furever Friends have jointly made the decision to close down mainly due to the terrible COVID-19 VIRUS situation. As you all know we raise the funds through car boots, functions, coach trips, quizzes etc, all of which involve large social gatherings and this is not something we feel can continue safely now or even for many months ahead. With safety being of utmost importance we would not want to put any of our volunteers, supporters, ourselves or any member of the public at any such risk, in our opinion until there is a vaccine available no one is safe or will feel safe.
We have had to give notice on the property that we rent that housed our rescues, so moving forward we will not be able to offer that safe haven to accommodate any more dogs.
Arrangements are being made for the dogs still in our care and of course they will be safe, cared for and get everything they need until suitable homes can be found.
At this moment in time, Please DO NOT drop anymore donations of unwanted items at
Jillys and Sjorens office LHD for the FF car boot as we have so much stock that has to be sorted and no room to store anymore of your kind donations. If you can hold on to it until such time as the team can can get together here in Spain to help make decisions and help with all the sorting out.
It's been a big struggle getting man power as of late and hard grafting keeping car boot running, lots of behind the scenes work has to be done and as you know when we are missing members it seems impossible sadly Jane has had to be in the UK since last July helping with family commitments.
SO HUGE THANK-YOU to you all for keeping it going especially Pam & Les that worked tirelessly throughout๐๐๐๐ Marta the Vet for everything she's done for the dogs and Helen for doing the fb page.Thank you.
We are not saying that we won't be raising money for the rescues in the future, we certainly will, maybe in a different capacity, but for now this is an impossible situation.
Please do leave food & water out for any of the animals if you can especially water now the summer is coming๐๐ค
THANK YOU ALL for your support/help/donations etc๐๐๐ YOU Have all helped to save so many dogs lives and gave them the home life they so deserved.
We hope you can all understand why we have had to take this decision and support us in this tough time going forward๐๐ช
Take care, stay safe, luv from Jane, Sue & all gang of FF
