Hola
Quite simply there are new rules; whether you want to chance the fines is up to you. To register your property there are hoops to go through like proving your water is drinkable. Some rules that were thought to be needed have been relaxed but you need expert advice.

Hi kevman
You can find a wealth of information about the rental laws on the following websites.
spain-holiday.com under Homeowners and then Rental Buzz
or alternatively
spanishpropertyinsight.com under Guides
You should remember that Chiclana may be a special situation and referring to a local specialist lawyer might provide more accurate locallly specific information., particularly if you do not have a habitation licence.

I would guess that if you have a villa which sleeps 6 you would need a water tank which holds 1200 litres of drinking water.
