About a month ago, by invitation from friends, we went to Bar La Longhera and found it friendly with good tapas food. The people there had only taken over a few weeks before.
We returned today and met the owner (his wife prepares the food and two sons are normally 'front of house'. He speaks good English and recommended the daily specials of mousaka and lasagna, and we had one each. They were excellent and served with garlic bread. Very good prices and we will return soon.
From the blue bridge, go past the huge Plaza de Toros car park (on your right) to the next roundabout and turn right (Estudiantes) and the bar is almost immediately on the left. I think parking is difficult weekdays because of the colleges but no problem today (Saturday).
