The 37th edition of the Ciudad de Chiclana Triathlon 'VII Memorial Carlos Sena' will not be held tomorrow, as planned.
The decision has been made due to the strike called by the staff of the private company Aossa,
who will not participate in the organisation of the race.

Chiclana will stop enjoying a test tomorrow that has been held for 37 years uninterrupted.
"It's not easy to make a decision of this nature, but the mechanism that this career entails is wide
and complex and requires the invaluable work of the human staff," said the sports delegate, José Alberto Cruz."

At this event, there will be musical performances, guided tours and stands of shops will be set up on La Plaza street.

The first White Night of the summer will take place tomorrow, Friday, July 5th. An event in which Chiclana residents and visitors will be able to enjoy a wide cultural,
musical and commercial programme in the streets of the centre of Chiclana. In addition, commercial establishments located in other areas of the municipality will set up
stands in La Plaza Street. All of this will be accompanied by guided tours and routes and live music. Shops, restaurants, museums and churches will also be open.
“The aim of this activity is to revitalise the city centre, so that we buy in the municipality, thus giving value to all our commercial potential”, highlighted the delegate
for Economic Development, Manuela Pérez, explaining that one of the novelties this year is the placement of a photocall, whose participants will enter the draw for
three 50 euro cheques to spend in the establishments that have participated in this White Night.


As for the cultural programme that complements the commercial offer until midnight, there will be guided tours such as the Chiclana en Blanco route at 8:00 p.m.
and the Phoenician route at 10:00 p.m., both lasting two hours. Reservations must be made at [e-mail] .

On the other hand, the Chiclana Museum, the Wine and Salt Interpretation Centre, the Francisco Montes 'Paquiro' Museum, Nueva Gadeira and the María Emilia Lira Doll Collection
will remain open until midnight; while the Iglesia Mayor can be visited until 9:30 p.m.; the San Telmo Church and the Santo Cristo chapel until midnight and the
Jesús Nazareno church until 10:00 p.m.

Finally, the public will be able to enjoy live music, which will be itinerant through various points of the centre and there will also be fixed points where you can enjoy it.
