author: Hi, we have just got tickets for Cadiz v Manchester United on 7th December (friendly) as we happen to be out at the apartment at that time.
Where do we go to before the game etc. Looking forward to my first Spanish match experience. I know we all follow different teams so I just want
information about the ground not comments about Utd. Thanks


Loads of great bars all close to the ground. Just get to the stadium head to the north stand side and behind it is a big square where all the “cadistas” gather.
And many bars around to get into the atmosphere….. xxxx

great tapas bars across the street and close by. The beach is across the road and there are loads of restaurants all along there. xxxx



Strange time for a friendly, right in the middle of the world cup xxxx

author: it’s the footballers not going to the World Cup to keep them match fit e.g De Gea.

could you post how/where you got the tickets? I’ve been asked several times but I don’t have the time to look further into it.

They are currently staying in the Barcelo at Montecastillo Jerez if you wanted to meet any of them. Was having a coffee there next to them Monday morning… ****

We are going to the game tonight (never been to a match at Cadiz previously) - what’s your best travel advice please. Was thinking possibly park at Bahia Sur and train - we do
usually drive into Cadiz but not sure of what parking is like on a match day. Thanks ****

Granted it wasn’t the lesson two family members wished for but we had a great night ****
