Whilst British Corner Shop is excellent for many grocery products that are often difficult to find now that trips to Morrisons, Gibraltar, are virtually futile, there are probably many of us who still miss our UK sausages, back bacon, meat pies/pasties, gammon steaks, pork joints with crackling, and decent sized legs of lamb that haven't been chopped through to the bone a couple of times ("Spanish style"), etc. Also those very fattening, but very yummy, gateaux that used to be seen on the dessert trolley in most good UK restaurants, plus clotted cream, etc. - so many naughty but nice goodies that most of us have been unable to enjoy for many years. Well, we were getting withdrawal symptoms for Black Forest Gateau and managed to find this place link. It's well worth a look, out of curiosity (or nostalgia) if nothing else. We were so impressed we actually bought a larger freezer, placed quite a large and varied order, and were even more impressed when we received the first delivery. The delivery charge is not cheap but if you have a large freezer or can combine the order with friends then you can put in a huge order and make it worthwhile. Of course, if you're lucky enough to live near one of their depots the delivery charge is much cheaper - or free if you can collect! Sadly there's no depot around Chiclana - Málaga's the nearest to us. We hasten to add that we're not advertising for Eurodrop (although it'd be nice to receive a "bung") but we'd like to share our find amongst anyone who's interested .
