(saw this on another local expat site today)
Author I was about to toddle along to local farmacia to deposit some used Heparin hypodermics (as well as a few un-used units. However I heard that they don't take them,
and neither does the Los Gallos Health Centre accept them. So how do we dispose of these things safely? Anyone know please?
We have some too. I thought about the farmacia but not sure now. xxxx

Author And.....they wouldn't take them.
Author No-one seems to want to take them it is so stupid, Centro Medico told me to go to a health centre but my friend said they refused to take hers so it seems no one wants them. I had to put in community bin in the end but at least I had replaced the needle into the cork end so as safe as they could be.
