I am not wishing to scare people - I just want to make people be alert to people approaching them.
A few weeks ago there was a post reporting a "mugging" of a gentleman, in a car, in a public place, in broad day light. Sadly, it has happened again and reported to the police.
Be aware of a young lady, well dressed, long dark hair (could be a wig) with a clip board. Approached parked car with a single gent sat in it, arm resting on the open window (as we all do!) pushed herself through the open window, shouting, intent on taking wallet - but failed, however took watch from arm.
Thankfully unhurt but obviously well shaken by the incident.
This happened in the car park outside the Coviran supermarket at Novo Sancti Petri.
Everyone - just be aware!

Thank you for sharing this xxxx, it’s important we don’t become to complacent here in Chiclana, it’s a very safe place to live but not without the odd opportunists or in this case well thought out practiced criminals I hope they are caught soon this is the 4th time I’ve heard of this crime from same description of the perpetrators
