My daughter has asked if she can get married here - she and her partner both live in the UK - anyone know what the rules / procedure might be

I believe its easier done in Gibraltar - where they are geared up for weddings....it may have changed but a few years ago at least, it was quite complicated to get hitched in Chiclana (Spain).

Mostly likely, yes she can, and the above link is a good start. Our daughter got married in Medina Sidonia in 2014. She's Roman catholic and son in law is CoE. The ceremony covered both religious and civil requirement, so yes there's a bunch of paperwork and organising. The event was just wonderful, different from UK weddings, and the guests enchanted with the area.
The complexity and navigation depends on if you have a 'wedding organiser' or DIY.
